Burnin’ Up Soul Show on Wythenshawe FM is hosted by Arlen Mckee and Maggy Grooves of Burnin’ Up Soul Club. Tune in to hear across the board soul music from classics to underplayed oddballs.

They have been into music and radio ever since little kids, playing around wuth their dad’s transistor radio. Today their favourite presenter is Dean Anderson who, among other things, presents the TNT soul show on Radio Newark. “He’s a legend on the soul scene with some fantastic records and an all in all lovely guy”.

It all started through their friends at the Bristol Northern Soul Club, where they occasionally got invited onto Noods Radio, and “finally figured out how to record output from our turntables”, and started their own show.

They put on soul nights across Manchester, hosting talented DJs, showcasing all kinds of stellar soul music and are now a welcome addition to the team at WFM.

Their aim is to be “the biggest, baddest selectas in world”.

This sensational soul show is just perfect for a Sunday night.
