Lunchtime with Colin Owen
Listen live Fridays 12-2pm
Friday lunchtimes are lively and interactive as host Colin Owen likes to get you involved.
Each week Colin sets The Friday Question — always light-hearted and fun. He is also joined by Lucy Giles with her pick of the latest cinema releases and what to watch on the box. Plus, there’s Battle Hits — Colin’s new musical take on the classic game of Battleships.
Battle Hits
Hidden somewhere on a 5×5 grid are six musical Battle Hits, split between two opposing artists.
Choose a coordinate from A–E and 1–5 and fire away. Hit an occupied square and you’ll uncover a track — but you won’t know which artist you’ve hit until you fire, so your choice could score a Battle Hit for either side.
You’re firing blind — your coordinate could uncover Colin’s artist or the listeners’ artist, so every shot can move either side closer to victory.
Miss, and it’s back to the sonar.
First side to reveal three Battle Hits wins.
Pick your coordinates and play along with Colin on WFM.
